eulesseagle...you do know that greenjoe was doing that list "tongue in cheek", right? I am sure you do, but just for the folks out there who might not know....

More reasons to renew and buy season tickets:

It's college football

Cheerleaders and dance team members

Being with lots of friends

Meeting new friends

Supporting YOUR school and the players

Having a great time on a fall Saturday

Tailgating...beer...food...friends...fun

Being with the students (always fun to interact with UNT students)...it's always nice to see those great looking UNT co-eds...come on you "negative folks", say something bad about that...I dare you! Are you blind or what???

The UNT Band

Meeting up with fellow GMG.com posters and seeing who they "really are"...this can be dangerous...but fun!

It supports the program

Etc.

Etc.

ETC.

I could go on and on, but don't want to monoolize the topic here...come on add a few of yours...GO MEAN GREEN!

2. i support nt football no matter who the coach is.

yall fill in the rest.

I'll fill in a little bit, at least until I get completely beaten down and bored.

If the BOR wants to keep the "STATUS QUO" of having Darrell "Keep 8 In The Box" Dickey for (THEIR) H.C. then that is their "Final Answer."

DD has to know that he is the luckiest D-1A coach in college football today because who else could keep this type of job with this type of performance.

1. OK....he did play some horendous OOC BCS teams in the past which we had no chance of winning.....BUT.....DD should have been more competitive in our OOC games against MID-MAJORS!!

2. DD has had a reputation of "poor me" and the situation I am in.

3. DD is now saying that I was "UNPREPARED" for the teams that I played.

4. DD is now blaming his loses on the performance of total team performance when he and his staff are to teach the fundamentals and get the team prepared to "COMPETE" for EVERY GAME!!

5. DD has shown all of us how "UNFLEXIBLE" he is with doing the "same thing" over and over and over and still NOT have sucess. IMHO, I would think that a little light bulb would come on after 8 1/2 years and say...."hummmmmm, something aint workin' maybe I should try something different......kinda like someone who is winning..........nawwwwwww......I just know what I am doing will work.

Rape jokes are so hilarious, why not use the same line twice??

Correct me if I am wrong but is this the responsiblity of the OC, Ramon "I Can Count All My Offense Plays On My Digits" Flannigan??

I thought, correct me if I am wrong, part of the OC's responsibility was to have contingency plans for various Defenses and how to play to their weakness.

I am just worried:

1. Was the 3-3 just a surprise or is it a better defense for trying to run between the tackles?

2. Evidently no adjustments were made during the Tulsa game....or in most other games.

3. Is Darrel "Keep 8 In The Box" Dickey's new slogan, "If it is broke.....DON"T fix it?"

4. How much attention does RF pay to the game and does he know how to adjust?

S.E's Infamous battle cry, "YOU ARE BEING OUT COACHED" rings out louder every day.

Abe Lincoln fired a lot of "Yankee" generals before he found one who could win. Perhaps the UNT BOR can look at this 145-year old Management Technique.

1. Darrell "Keep 8 In The Box" Dickey is not taking responsibility for the OL to knock holes (or as he likes to say zone block) through 8 stacked defensive players. Let me see......we have an average of 5 OL on the line and they have 8 waiting for us.........hummmmmmmmmm.

2. Now Darrell "Keep 8 In The Box" Dickey is belittling the Kick Return Team for being # 117 out of 119 D-1 teams. He says it disappoints him and he feels sorry for Muzzy. hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

3. Darrell "Keep 8 In The Box" Dickey is saying that the "Offensive Plays" are too complicated. hummmmmmmmmmm. How many offensive plays do we have??? (1) run off tackle to the left. (2) run off tackle to the right (3) draw play on 3rd and long. (4) pitch to the left (5) pitch to the right (6) QB draw on 3rd and long (7) (8) (9) (10) four pass plays.

So far(t) this year I have not heard Darrell "Keep 8 In The Box" Dickey take responsibility for any sub par play of the offense, defense or special teams.

What do you call someone who leads an organization that deflects his final responsibility on his co-workers failures??

This about sums up Darrell "Keep 8 in the Box" Dickey's philosophy.

In his 9th season you would think he could come up with something different.

As for one alumi I am sort of tired of Darrell "keep 8 in the Box" Dickey's play calling and strategy.

No adjustments throughout the game. He is still trying to keep the game close to the 4th Quarter except this time Darrell "keep 8 in the Box" Dickey GAVE UP and put Meager in. Darrell "keep 8 in the Box" Dickey basically told me that he ran out of "GAME PLAN OPTIONS" by the 4th quater and decided to lay down and die. Other coaches reach deep down inside to mount a "COMEBACK" but not for Darrell "keep 8 in the Box" Dickey.

God bless you, Sunshine!

Where would this program be without your unwavering support and unrelenting optimism?

I buy season tickets because I hate myself and have a death wish.

Maybe for once in your life being "IN" on the ground floor of something GREAT!!

We've had a football program since 1913, and we still see ourselves as a groud floor opportunity?

Now, THAT'S what I call positive thinking. ;) .....and salesmanship.
