More bad news. I just check the area top 100 and saw that we only have 2 recruits committed from this list. The highest being Mayberry in the late 80's. It reminded me of looking at that list when DD used to be here. Horrible recruiting year.

At this school we should probably stop using the word "commitment" in reference to a player who claims he's coming here. Instead we should say he has "marginally expressed some last minute desperation interest as long as he still has the desire to play football in the future, overcomes countless academic eligibility hurdles, and isn't known to be alive by a single other NCAA scholarship-bearing program."

He also left out "and doesn't mind being moved to a position he isn't naturally suited for and/or to the bench if the coach has any other sons"

If you read the linked post the verbage is in reference to another named player...not the picture of Knighton So maybe not?
