The Austin NBC affiliate, KXAN, is reporting that Derek Long, the head coach of Westlake High School Football, has retired. I could not find a link on the 'net just yet, but I'm sure in time it will appear.

Why is this news? Our struggling head coach is no stranger to this program and has ties to it.

They need to find them an interum coach for next year.

Has anyone heard who the new Dline coach will be? Have they already hired someone and I just missed it?

I started a thread about that, but it went to second page purgatory. Maybe you could help bring back that discussion, because...I want to know something. Where's one of the guys with so called "insider information" when you need them? You can find it here:
