All these games are west div teams vs east div teams. There is a good chance the east div teams will win most, if not all, representing an opportunity for UNT to make up a lot of ground by beating FIU.

FYI, the East div teams are the Vegas favorites in all five games. Our game is listed as PK.

We're just about at the midpoint of the conference slate now. We have Saturday off, but right now we'd either be the 4 or 5 seed going into the league tournament. UALR is doing us no favors...that OT loss looks better all the time(but hurts worse...good God we'd be tied with them but own the head to head right now).

Troy is playing really well. They travel to UALR, and either team losing could help us. If UALR loses we inch a tad closer to them. If Troy loses we have a leg up on being the 4 seed in the conference tournament. Hell, we're only a game behind MTSU for a non-division winner bye currently.

It's still way early, but we're in a decent spot right now. We've only had one 5 game win streak in conference play - and that mostly included the '07 SBC tournment. So we're playing next week for something we've never done in the regular conference action.

Very true! I'm still holding out hope, however remote, that we can eventually pull off the best overall conference record.

It might be possible for either UALR or WKU to come back to us. But I can't see both of them doing so. But as you said, it's early.

Let's just worry about Troy for now. Suddenly that game is huge game for us.
