OMG!!! Does this mean that we just went head to head Arkansas and Colorado...... and took them down? If only we'd been competing with the Big12 and SEC all along.

And now we need some equally good news about the D-line coaching hire. We need someone at least as good as former NT Coach Bugar coaching the D-Line. Otherwise we've just signed a bunch of potential.....and you know what Dandy Don Meredith used to say about potential.

I'd actually prefer to think of the movie Cocoon, where the members of TY are all old and stuff...but they've still got it where it counts.

On a serious note, this is a great signing. I was really hoping that he would firm up his committment. Great news for the Mean Green.

  That would simply be a doors effect. People enjoy music and the hype it brings to athletes. I can assure you a player on the floor much rather hear music that will feed their adrenaline than a school chant. That’s an every sport thing.

  It’s the Mark Cuban/Mavs’ effect on basketball. Not a fan of it. I don’t mind some music, but not constantly. I enjoy the timeouts to talk about the game to the people next to me.

  I was going to mention this. I was one of the "old men" that stood in the student section to help fill in with school being out. We tried starting the chant because it was perfect timing. End of a 13-0 run following a steal and Jossell 3. We tried and tried but yeah the DJ and music eventually drowned us out. Then they had the nerve to start the chant with 35 seconds left after Jossell moved two free throws and OSU hit a game-tying 3. Crowd was completely depleted including myself and I had no interest in restarting the chant.

  Appreciate the thoughtful, nuanced analysis after each game. Any chance for some more film study breakdowns this offseason? Wyatt Young isn't a burner, but I think he has the size and ability to have some success at X / Z next year. Not sure if the coaching staff sees it that way. Rooting for the happy version of the fight song to be played after the Temple game!
