You mean a player from a 1-11 team got overlooked? I refuse to believe that this is even possible. I'm sure that Washington and WSU are outraged as well. Come on people, this is nothing new. Let's just hope that his stat line gets him an invite to the combine so he can get a shot.

Dillard, Cosby, Iglesias, and McKinney I can understand but here are the others last year:

Byrd - 37 catches for 513 yards and 4 TDs

Foster - 30 catches for 334 yards and 2 TDs

Gibson - 57 catches for 673 yards and 2 TDs

Massaquoi - 58 catches for 920 yards and 8 TDs

Murphy - 38 catches for 655 yards and 7 TDs

Turner - 49 catches for 741 yards and 10 TDs

Williams - 44 catches for 485 yards and 4 TDs

Fitzgerald - 113 catches for 1,119 yards and 6 TDs

I'm with Lifer. Is there somewhere that we can e-mail the selection committee and give them these figures and ask what gives?

You may have missed it, but Cal Poly and Washington State both have players in the Sr. Bowl.

Not exactly. Gibson is the Washington State Player and I noticed the Cal Poly player but didn't bother to look up his stats.

forever eagle: Maybe it could be like chicken soup, "it couldn't hurt." Besides, it would make me feel better.

The folks who give out the Biletnikoff Award didn't overlook Casey.

As long as we are honest about what we feel is likely to be accomplished. I have just gotten used to the fact that we are going to have players overlooked every year. If we have talent, then it is very likely that they are not going to be recognized. That is the reality of college football.
