Bradford will return to OU next year, very smart move.

All the other qb's at OU have asked for their unconditional release because they know the starting job is Bradford's.

Man I can't believe they would do that. Why can't they just wallow at a place they no longer want to be at while their college years pass them by? Don't they know they signed a blood pact, err, I mean scholarship offer? If only they had the integrity of the Mean Green fan base. What a bunch of quitters!

I saw them all on the Rice sideline during their Bowl game....

I wonder if they told the coaches right after the National Championship game they were staying, then changed their minds and didn't have the decency to actually inform the coaches. I also wonder that instead of telling the coaches themselves they didn't want to stay, they had their dads do it and then their dads threatened future recruits to OU.

If only we had that kind of integrity and class.

I wonder how quickly the attitude of the posters ripping Vizza for leaving would change if Landry Jones or Ben Sherrard said they were transferring to UNT.

Dodge will not recruit a QB he thinks will knock his son out of the position. He knew Vizza was going to keep Riley on the pine and now will win with his son or go they will go down together.

The fun begins. Riley's first few passes were a thing of beauty in the collegiate game.

we will never know.

Dodge will never get a top QB recruit or transfer as long as his son is here, imo. TD doesn't want one to appear. JUCO Qb's are more ready than one Riley Dodge.

That has been my thinking the whole time. Any outsider will think UNT's starting QB for 2 years left due to the coach's son handed the job on a silver platter. Why would a JUCO player want to waste his short D1 career riding the pine?

Why did he recruit Vizza so hard then? Why did he not get him to go to another program when he knew Riley was coming? I assure you, Dodge, and any other coach for that matter, is going to recruit the best possible players he can at every position.

Are you guys really complaining that we can't get a top QB recruit because we have Riley? Riley was a top recruit! Geez, you people have beat me down.

Never said anything about not getting a top QB recruit. I only pointed out the fact a JUCO QB is not looking to ride the pine for his 2-3 years of remaining eligibility. Starting QB leaves after 2 years, JUCO guy's chances are slim to none with Daddy's boy in the driver seat.

Regarding our current players listed at QB, who do you want to start?

Outside of that, I don't think the job has been given to Riley. He waited his turn at SLC and would wait his turn here if there was someone better to play the position.
