Look it up. They must give them the magic pill in fall pratice before their frosh year. If only we would have thought of that!!!!

Dang, just keep the team together and they will win the Superbowl by the time they are seniors.

I know, can't compare us to them, or anyone else, cause we are incomparable!!

Didn't know the truth was considered negative. Whom, prey tell, should we compare UNT with?? Please tell me, because it seems that we can't be compared to anyone.

So can we recruit phenomenal Belt athletes, win the conference and they can leave early for the Canadian League?

Arena League. The Mountain West and WAC athletes go Canadian.

Do we really need to keep doing this? Really? We had a bad season, and our team is young. This isn't quite the excuse that we wish it was, but we don't need to continue the argument between the two extremes. Can we all agree that the bad seasons were a mix a young team and inexperienced coaches? This is not a very good place to be, but here we are. I am getting really tired of these arguments. Nobody is making new points, and everyone wants to continue fighting about it. STOP THE INSANITY!

Anyone heard anything about the new stadium? Is there any recruiting news? Is the schedule released yet?

I hate the off season already.

      If it worked at UIW why not here?

      4 years with 1 good season is not enough to determine how good a head coach is. There's absolutely zero reason to believe that singular good season isn't an outlier. The sample size is just too small. Based on these first two seasons at UNT, I think it's more than fair to question his ability to build and sustain a winning program.

      I agree I'd like to see where those schools get the dollars to buy out 3-year's worth of head coach salary. It's time for G5 programs to go to 2-3 year head coaching contracts max. If the guy is really good he will leave anyway for a P4 job. If he's really bad you want him gone, and if he has potential then add extensions as needed...but not Seth type extensions...so be careful!

      Cotton, Vice And Mason

      I would also like to see Vice and Mason get more minutes. They looked good in the limited action I saw them. Senior privilege minutes for Sissoko and Stone are at the expense of better players.

      The Band

      I know this isn't the most important topic, but I was curious as to what others thought. I live across the country so I can't attend games unfortunately, but from watching it on TV is it just me or has the band declined in quality in the last few years? When the camera shows them they look undisciplined/inattentive, some are just wandering around chatting. I see other bands together and ready to play as soon as a play is over. The size seems to have ballooned and now sprawls across 2 sections of the stands, and despite that they sound worse. The director also doesn't seem to know that the purpose of the band is to hype up the team/crowd, and put pressure on the opposing team on 3rd downs. Play something intimidating on 3rd down! When they do play it seems like they just have a bank of songs they go through in order without considering the situation on the field. The selection of music is bad, and it doesn't seem like they have any variety of songs to connect with the crowd, many bands will play classic and modern hits to get the crowd into things. Like I said I don't know if this is true or not since I can only judge on what I see on broadcasts, what's the in-game experience like?
