Nt's Endowment

According to yesterday's DMNews....our endowment was at $70 million....before the recent economic woes. They listed our current endowment at a paltry $51.8 million.

If things had been done right around here, way back when....our endowment would at least be way into the hundreds of millions. No blame to anyone currently, as they are doing their best to catch up.

It's sad to think...we're trying to build a stadium that will cost more than our current endowment.

Here's the story from yesterday's paper. The print edition of the paper.....listed the endowment numbers for a lot of the schools....couldn't find it online though.

But seriously folks...Right or wrong, I think our endowments reflect the success or lack of success our football team has on the field.

I've got no data to back this, but I bet when NT wins, the endowment goes up.

When UNT wins, my endowment goes up. Sadly, that only happened one time last year.
