I am sure a certain friend of mine out there (you know who you are) is already cranking on a response about how it's all green and it's all good. I'm not saying its not, but the list is an interesting discussion point.

Hahaha...a shot at the sunshine pumpers.

Right now, the only thing that is all green and all good in my life is the guacamole at Uncle Julio's.

Vito is stealing my stuff. I posted well over amonth ago that none of the top area players were considering us.

The questions, of course, is this - if Todd Dodge can't compete for the area recruits he said he'd bring here, and he can't produce a winning football team, why is he still here? And, again, Vito points out as I have numberous times, he's not even getting a sniff from Southlake's best players. Why is he still the coach?

For the next coach - no more five year deals! Three years and three only. No extensions without a winning season. The Sun Belt isn't the Big 12 or SEC. Any coach should be able to come in here and make us at least competitive in conference play. As it is, we're less competitive than when Dickey left.

I'm weary of it. Just tired and worn out of all the stupidity of it.

I don't know who you would be able to attract with a three year deal. A 5 year deal with a buy out clause for UNT after 3 years seems more doable.

Jesus only needed three years to fulfill His mission.

Man, I've never seen literal crucifiction called for on this board before. Isn't that a little over the top?

And....the thread is done in one response. Good to be back.

The answer to your question begins with $$$$

I mean, say what you want about the tenants of National Socialism, at least its an ethos.

I really think our next coach needs to be a Socialist. There were only four last year and it could really set us apart and help us recruit some of that big Southern beef this team needs!

The NFL requires that a team with a coaching vacancy must interview at least one Socialist for the job...I think its a good idea in principle, but you have owners like Daniel Snyder and Wayne Huizenga who are so overtly Capitalist that every Socialist knows he's just filling a quota
