Does anybody know if the Mean Green room will be open tonight at the UTA game? Got some friends coming, and thought I would treat them to some cheap eats. Checked the athletic website, but it did not have any info. Thanks!

I'm sure it will be. In the past over the holidays they have had an intern or assistant run it while the admin staff is usually on vaca.

It's sort of a basketball version of The Deck (in football). It's in the Colesium, and Mean Green Club members who give I think $500 or more, can go there....have a good cheap meal ($5). Also, beer and wine are served there.

It's sorta a Mean Green closet located in the bowels of the Super Pit. If you happen to go there, beware of the Kommandant who patrols the place for trouble makers and malcontents. Be on your best behavior...afterall, you are only a donor.

There are details about the Mean Green room now posted in the VVIP section of the board...I'd say check there before you head to the game.
