110 RPI is not bad...expect we'll break into top 95 with a W @ NO and vs. UTA

I'm not sure about that given UTA's poor rating(312 currently). We need some of our OOC opponents to start winning some games.

110 is not good. 110 won't get us into the NCAA if we don't win the conference.

There really isn't a magic number either though. It's just a fun tool used to rank schools by numbers people. The selection committee used to rely on it more than they have the last 10-12 years(one of the reasons Texas used to routinely get in the tournament back in the early to mid 90's when they had rather lousy records is their OOC schedule was so demanding their RPI was artifically inflated - that doesn't happen so much anymore).

But you are right that a 110 does us no favors. But, I'm more concerned with UNO than I am with any RPI rank.

It looks like Ulala played w/o Bureau. They probably wanted to give him some rest b/c he had been injured before our game with them.

Yes, Bureau did rest. Groin injury. But the problem with this team lies with the head "coach". Plenty of talent to win; but terrible fundamentals. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next 2 games vs Tenn and LSU.
