What is to become of this country? I very worried about our future. We are spending ourselves into the crapper and mediocrity. We cannot possibly pay for all of these obligations.

This is truly frightening. Government needs to butt out, let these businesses fail, and allow the markets to correct themselves. History has shown us time and again that government can do very little to "fix" an economy, other than get the hell out of the way.
