I hate the NFL Network, I think there are high school production crews that could do better. I'm beyond pissed sitting here in Houston trying to watch the ceremonies after the game, and they keep cutting back and forth between the studio jackoffs and the ceremony. I'm not sure how much of Emmits speech I missed! I'm irate!!!

I don't know which was a more of a whipping ... the Cowboys losing or the listening to the NFL Network broadcast crew. Deon Sanders is perhaps the worst color commentator ever to call a game.

Agree on both points. All of that money in The League and they can't find anyone decent to call the games?

I'm a 26 yr old lifetime Cowboys fan. My namesake is Drew Pearson. The first season I really remember is Aikmans first season when we went 1-15, 1990 I think. I was there for the Thanksgiving Leon Lett game.

I must say, I got a little teary eyed watching some of those highlights during the ceremony. Hearing Emmit talk about how much the star means to him. Jerry's grand daughter was balling the entire time. I'm sad to see it go. But here's to new memories in the new Texas Stadium!

Agree, NFL network is a joke. Sanders has some skills but it is not in public speaking.

I think we talked about this last year also.... Gumbel was terrible...

It was soooo bad that I (this is true) listen to the game on 93.3 the bone and listened to Brad Sham's coverage. Trust me it was much better.

I will miss Texas Stadium..... The thing that sucks is the new stadium is at a horrible location compared to where Texas Stadium is at right now. Also on the radio they kept repeating that the old stadium will be turned into condos, office park and a new shopping mall... wow...

Not kidding about this but some pissed off Dallas fans have set up petition/website for Jerry Jones to bring in Michael Vick to replace Romo. "Saying that Jerry Jones will do anything and bring anyone to win some games" you know what they have a good point. To be seen????

I don't have a problem with play by play from Bob Papa and commentary from Marshall Faulk. They both are actually pretty good but Deion is attrocious. He dumbs down the broadcast and takes his crew down with him. If you get rid of Deion then the broadcast will be soooo much better.

My Time Warner Cable programmable button effectively mutes all Deion Sanders talk.

I liked how Marshall Faulk vanished for long stretches, then emerged to take shots at Jason Garrett, and then vanished again. I really wish more announcers were passive-aggressive - it spices up bad football.

Sounds like those of you out of the DFW area had it good for the post game ceremony. Channel 33 aired the Cowboys jumbotron feed and it was just awful. The audio was distorted and cut in and out. I could hear the post-game press conference bleeding throughout the entire ceremony, so much that at one point I heard T.O. addressing the media while Roger Staubach getting nostalgic about the 70's Redskins game. Then there was the shaky camera angles and miscued graphics. I doubt that broadcast will be nominated for an Emmy. Rich Phillips made a remark on The Ticket a little while ago that NTTV could have produced a better live broadcast and I believe that statement is very true! What a shame. I don't blame 33 for attempting to wash their hands of it immediately afterward.

Atlanta is not a factor for the Cowboys. They clinched with their win over Minnesota. Tampa helped and lost, so all they need to do is win and they are in. And "somehow" already happened once this season, so it can happen again. If the Redskins can beat them, then the Cowboys probably can too.

To be fair, the Redskins are still mathematically alive if the Bucs, Eagles, Cowboys, and JUST one of the Bears/Vikings tandem fly out of Denver on a Continental flight.

As for me, give me a Broncos/Falcons Super Bowl baby! The last time those teams met it killed my grandfather during the game, but the joke is now on them, because I don't have grandfathers anymore. Also, I hate the Super Bowl.
