Probable Starters -

PG. Ryan McCoy 6'0" 160 Jr. (7.6ppg, 1.9rpg, 3.0apg)

SG. Chris Gradnigo 6'6" 200 Soph. (11.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 0.5apg)

SF. Travis Bureau 6'7" 180 Soph. (17.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 49% 3pt FG)

PF. Tyren Johnson 6'7" 185 Jr. (9.1ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.1apg)

C. Colby Batiste 6'9" 220 Jr. (3.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 13 blocks)

Key Reserves -

F. Lamar Roberson 6'8" 220 Jr. (11.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.0apg - only 2 games)

G/F. LaRyan Gary 6'7" 205 Jr. (8.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 0.4apg)

F/C. Emmanuel Adiefe 6'10" 220 Jr. (3.0ppg, 6.5rpg)

F/C. Jeremy Barr 6'9" 265 Jr. (6.4ppg, 2.5rpg)

G. Corey Bloom 6'4" 180 Jr. (2.0ppg, 1.4rpg)

G. Willie Lago 5'10" 175 Jr. (3.8ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.9apg)

G. Randell Diagle 5'11" 180 Jr. (Yet to Play)

ULL started the season slowly, started 0-3 including an embarrasing 30 point loss to Utah Valley State. As the season has progressed, and as Coach Robert Lee has gotten back key members of his team, the Cajun's play has steadily improved. Sophomore wing Travis Bureau is off to an impressive start, averaging 17.1ppg, good for second in the conference. Chris Gradnigo missed the team's first 4 games, but has come back to be a solid compliment to Bureau on the wing. Former UNT recruit Ryan McCoy has run a steady point in place of Diagle, who has yet to play this season...while Johnson, Batiste and Barr have played servicably in the post. Roberson and Adiefe, a pair of UNLV transfers, became eligible two games ago and give Lee both a talented scoring option (Roberson) and a shot blocker and rebounder (Adiefe).

This game really scares me...JJ has shown the tendancy to go with his three small guard line-up in clutch time...I don't see how that can match-up effectivly with a wing rotation of Gradnigo, Bureau, Roberson and Gary, all over 6'6"...though, on the plus side, both Bureau and Gary are questionable for tonight's game with injuries...I'm currently trying to find out about Diagle's status as well. ULL's bigs are foul prone, so establishing an inside game early and finding a way to get to the line frequently would be highly adventageous for the second best free throw shooting team in the conference (70.5%).

ULL usually is a pretty tough matchup. I hope we're ready to play tonight? GMG

I think we will find out tonight just how much a liability our two small point guard's will be.... ULL is a pretty big team.

I do not like the Howerton and Stewart combo.

I thought the exact same thing. They should never be in at the same time.

Talk about a detriment to your offense.

I hope we can put a nice cushion between us and them before they start hitting some of their shots.

Triston on fire! Nailing 3's!

Just as I say that he misses one... but Triston already has 10 points! Light it up Triston!
