Well it was the last weekend before juco signing date. So that's probably why they had them in---just to get them in before Dec. 17.

Evidently you are not familiar with college football procedures....athletes all over the nation are visiting colleges on weekends, especially just before JC early signing date and having official visits. I see it every day when a player commits , if you check rivals it is usually after a weekend visit, rivals shows visit dates. Check Old Coach.com...a rivals site and look at their teasers.

At this time none of the football web sites shows Ira Smith as a NT commit....so I am always concerned until I see it on one of their web sites. Scout has a current article on Smith after his visit to Ole Miss when he received their offer.

I don't know whether to applaud Dodge for failing so badly in the trenches, or for convincing more DBs to join our secondary parade.
