This guy is a hack, at least one fan let's him know people see through him. Hillarious!

Ed Werder is doing his job. He has no agenda. This guy yelling is the ass-hat. It's easy to raise a fuss over some crap you don't agree with, but I would think that a guy that is at Valley Ranch everyday and at every game and talks directly to players, coaches, staff, fellow writers and media members probably has a much clearer idea of what the hell is going on. Just because T.O. is an ass to just about everyone surrounds him doesn't mean that Werder is doing a bad job as a journalist.

Good for Cowboy Chris. I get tired of the reporters trying to make the news.

Had I been Chris, Mr. Jumpsuit and I would have been best of friends after his second trip down to cuss me and get into my face. "I work for ESPN....". Talk about an asshole?

I like how people like yourself think that reporters go out of their way to fabricate news. People that do that lose their jobs. I think Ed Werder makes too much money and has too big of a reputation in the industry to do something so foolish. If you ask me fans with a sense of entitlement are way more annoying than a guy doing his job. I guess this is a futile argument because the majority of the people on this board think that Brett Vito has an agenda. Ridiculous.

Didn't say anything about fabricating the news, I said make the news, meaning they make more out of what is there. I didn't state that clear enough I suppose. They dig at players and try and bait them into saying one thing and take it another and make a mountain out of a mole hill. And I happen to like Brett and the job he's done so far. I may not agree with him every step of the way, but I think he's done his job as expected. But I don't like Ed Werder, he's right there with Skip Bayless.

Werder and Bayless are completely different. Werder reports what actually happens and what is said at Valley ranch. Bayless injects his opinion as a columnist and a talking head on the tube. If a reporter didn't report what exactly happened or what was said, the common fan would have a bigger issue with that. IMO Cowboy fans need to take a step back and realize what they are upset about right now. A player who has no respect for anyone or anything around him. Werder is doing the exact same thing that Suzy Kilber, Sal Palantonio, Jeremy Schapp, Colleen Dominguez, Rachel Nicholls, or any other ESPN TV beat reporter would do. Some people need to take off the foam finger and drop the pennant and take a realistic look at what they are mad about. Cowboy fans should be upset with the players causing issues in the lockeroom and maybe Jerry for composing this mess.

Don't kill the messenger.

But YOU are not one of those people, right?

Imagine that? Live after the game, amd after being asked by Andrea Kramer about the so called disruptive incident mentioned earlier in the week, Jason Whitten say's....."It was blown out of proportion...I don't even know how I got mentioned as part of it?". Terrell Owens stated.. "I don't even know where Ed Werder was coming up with what he was reporting....", and Tony Romo makes a joke out of the entire thing saying "it was a genius move on Jason and Terrell's part to make it all up to take the pressure of the game off of the team's shoulders".

Later during his press conference, Wade Phillips say's "Team members are like brothers in a family, and brothers are going to get into fights, but then come back and fight for each other and that's what this team did tonight".

Then during his press conference on ESPN when no one has a question about the game that was just played, just the stupid controversy, Terrel Owens says:

"Ed Werder took it too far",......"where did he get his information?",......"He told a blatent lie",......."where did it come from that we went to blows?",...."The offensive linemen heard what was being reported(by espn) and was just as surprised by me?",......"Werder was reporting things as if he was on the practice field",....."I never said "Tony and Jason was freezing me out".

During Tony Romo's press conference the same thing. Very little about the game just the stupid controversey, in which he said "you guys make it more than it is". And they dug at him and dug at him and dug at him about the same crap. There were maybe 4 or 5 questions about the game or his injury etc.

No wonder Marion Barber doesn't do interviews?

PM me if you want a great example from tonight's postgame as to why you shouldn't be so quick to rip Ed and those like him. I know for a fact that the players are saying everything is fine and hunky-dory so they can move on and focus on Baltimore. T.O. has had a beef with Ed Werder and everyone at ESPN for the better part of this season, not just Ed. Again, if you want answers just ask.
