RPI Update (Just cause it's fun)

21 Western Kentucky

67 Arkansas St

83 AR Little Rock

142 North Texas

154 South Alabama

223 MTSU

250 FIU

257 Florida Atlantic

276 Troy

285 LA Monroe

298 LA Lafayette

314 New Orleans

332 Denver

East looks deeper throughout, while the West appears to be heavy at the top with four bottom feeders. We shall see if this is how it plays out though.

Last year Western Kentucky was the only team we couldn't compete with. This year there is nobody that we can't handle.

I hope you're right. I wish we had the Hilltoppers at home this year though.

Wasn't WKU like 356 or something a couple weeks ago?

About 3 weeks or so, yes. But you tend to move up when you beat schools like Louisville. That win by itself jumped them over 150 spots if I remember right.

Blue Raiders get a nice start.

The Raiders had PG Nigel Johnson back from injury and Center Theryn Hudson back (though he didn't start the game and played 13 minutes, Hudson got 4 points and 6 rebounds). Johnson had missed the last 2 games due to a knee injury. Hudson had missed five out of six games due to a foot injury. When Hudson came in and Johnson was in, the team went on a 18-0 run in the first half. If MT is healthy this is the best team I've seen in 20+ years in Murphy Center. MT beat Troy like a drum, even while Demetrious Green - one of the best players the Raiders have - went scoreless. It's a shame there weren't many folks there to see. Murfreesboro was hit with a fluke snow storm last night an hour or so before the game.
