There had always been talk he was pretty corrupt. The Green party candidate got 10% of the vote in 2006 because of this perception that turned out to be true.

Right on. In reading what was recorded that he said and what he was actually trying to accomplish is just shocking, at least it is to me. Offering up the senate seat for money and attempting to bribe a newspaper and being so open about it. How arrogant? Makes you want to throw every politician you know out on the street and start over?
