greenminer Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 With all this controversy on who should have been ranked higher, I woner if Texas and OU would play on a neutral field who would win?.... oh wait.Which matters most to the BCS: who took care of it on the field, or who is the better team right now?
SHOSS Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 f florida and especially f ou...and f texas just becasue...Boise State is my national champ.and texas tech gets the coveted number 2 slot.
GreenBat Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 f florida and especially f ou...and f texas just becasue...Boise State is my national champ.and texas tech gets the coveted number 2 slot. Why not UTAH? They are also undefeated and untiead. Ball State only has one loss, same as everyone else (Alabama, Florida, Teaxas, OU, Texas Tech, Penn State). The BCS is unfair to the majority of the teams, but the greedy college football system has made its choice, know the fans must live with it. No amount of whining and complaining is going to change the system. The only thing that is going to change it colored green and has pictures of dead president's on it.
Quoner Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 When did we get a waver on saying fuck here?

Cr1028 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 QUOTE(LongJim @ Dec 8 2008, 08:19 AM) They Just about every BCS school out there runs a crooked program, and their successes have been built on scandal in every instance. How anyone can root for those guys is beyond me. Fixed that for you. Just in case we wanna' play the "But the school that I didn't attend in my state is cleaner than the school you didn't attend in your state" game, here's a 2007 reminder of the home team's shenanigans.QUOTEEight current or former Longhorn football players have been arrested since Texas claimed the national championship against Southern California in the 2006 Rose Bowl.I don't seem to remember which Longhorns were paid by Big Orange car dealership to go to practice instead of come to work. I do remember something about Big Red though......Rhett "oops I claimed my dirty money on my tax return" Bomar anybody?Oh, almost forgot, make OU play Tech in Lubbock and give UT Tech in Austin. UT beat OU on a NEUTRAL FIELD. Tech beat UT on their home field. OU had Tech on their home field. I just don't quite see it as the same thing. There is a reason they call it "Home Field Advantage".
MeanGreengdub Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 When it preceeds "Oklahoma."Someone is bitter...
UNTLifer Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Haha wow. What about when TT beat UT? Then OU beat TT? The head-to-head argument doesn't work because of UT losing to TT. OU got the better part of the schedule. People need to quit whining. What's your connection to OU? Maybe you should temper your man crush on the Sooners considering you are posting on a North Texas board.
