T-Mac's gonna love working with the press when he gets back...someday.

It's become such a joke down here. Like clockwork, every year around the holidays, T-Mac is "injured". All the news outlets are really letting him have it now, and rightfully so. Doctors in Houston say there's nothing wrong with his knee. So he goes to Birmingham for a second opinion. Still, nothing wrong. The problem is with his labia majora. Lucky for me, I still hate sports so it isn't bothering me as much as it used to.

Softess player in the NBA.

Yet I still don't understand how people can label Dirk that. T-Mac has done nothing...he's had great moments and his play against the Mavs in the Playoffs a few years ago was nothing less than spectacular but this is a guy that doesn't deserve to labeled a superstar of any type.

Because Dirk's kind of a bitch too. Unlike Dirk, T-Mac was never on a good team. The team the Mav's took to the Finals was loaded compared to what McGrady played with in Toronto or Orlando. And the Rockets, well they've been a portrait of mediocrity for over a decade. Until last year, really, which was still a FAIL.

T-Mac was a super star on sub par teams. He isn't a superstar anymore. As a Rocket's fan, I wish he still played like he did in 2004.

Both teams have grossly underachieved the last few years, in my opinion. Meanwhile, SA built a dynasty... much to the chagrin of both Dallas and Houston.

I agree with you to an extent. His teams in Houston haven't been that bad. Infact they would have been really really good if he and Yao would have been healthy. I agree the Mavs have had more depth in the past but to the extent people make it seem like. There's no question that T-Mac is one heck of a player when he is on and not injured. Part of being a superstar/star in my opinion is the ability to be healthy. If he is not then I don't think players can be labled that.

Dude's been in the league for 11 years...

2-time scoring champ, 7-time all star... outside of rings, I don't know what else you want out of a "super star."

Well since he was by far the best player on a mediocre at best Magic team I will say those scoring champs don't mean a whole lot to me. Being a 7 time all star is great and all but all star games in sports today have almost become a farse so I don't put just a ton of stock into bringing up all stars when defending a player. I'm not denying his talent but his constant injuries and not playing to me doesn't warrant him being called a superstar in my opinion. Hell in my opinion I would even take a healthy/same age Yao over a healthy/same age T-Mac any day of the year. Not to mention something has to be said with being 0'fer in his playoff history of moving past the first round. If you are a superstar then you can atleast get your team out of the first round once in the first 7 or 8 tries.

You make good points tho. And don't forget that I love you.
