It has nearly 48 colleges, can't tell if NT is in the tournament....

Once again it's a UNT sport that is underfunded.

Our guys were using cane poles and worms.

BUILD A NEW LAKE!

If OU or SMU has a team, you can bet they had a trotline out on the lake the night before.

Cheatin' bass turds. (intentional misspelling---gee if there are any words I know how to spell it's the curse ones).

The system isn't the problem people...we're hooking plenty of bass...its just that our fishermen are young and they don't have the wherewithal to reel in the score on those last 20 yards to the boat. Give them time and soon we'll be pulling makos, orcas and sacopterygii with the best in the nation!

Yeah, and as soon as we can get alumni donating significanly enough to afford 15lb. test line, we'll be able to reel em' in with the best of em'.

That's why we can't compare ourselves to schools like Murray State and SFA - schools that used to be right there with us. We might have similarities, but we don't have the identically same situation at our lake. Honestly, I don't see how we can compare ourselves to anyone else who fishes at all. We need to aim higher - but in our own special way.

I'm so tired of that excuse. There are plenty of accomplished fishermen on this team that are either being misused or not used at all. In fairness to the University and fan base this staff needs to get the best anglers in the boats.

BTW.... I hear the coach's son often sits right next to him on the dock while the rest of the team are relegated to standing on the shore.

We really are a special situation. We've got to learn to fish in lakes that are close to metropolitan areas like Lake Lewisville, Grapevine, Conroe ect., but we've also got to be competitive in large rural lakes like Texoma, Eufaula, and (your favorite) Beaver lake.
