It's beginning to feel that way. The thought of UTSA passing us by to the PAC and making double the TV revenue dollars than us makes me sick. Not to mention the recruiting advantage UTSA would have moving forward. Then watching Air Force join the AAC as full-share member while we chill here making half-share. 🤮 -

There are no promises that Memphis has a safe landing spot in the Big 12. It is possible if the ACC raids the Big 12 in 2029 as expected but playing the "what if" game when you have a firm offer in hand is extremely dangerous. Take the move up now or someone else will. -

I think Memphis really wants to be in the B12. If they see a stint in the PAC-12 as a pathway to that goal, then they will bolt. Unfortunately for Memphis, the PAC-12 also wants stability so is probably looking for some sort of binding agreement or GoR that will lock Memphis in for longer than they want and may cause them to miss the B12 opportunity if it comes in the future. It's clear Memphis wants nothing to do with the current composition of the AAC. It's a classic bird in the hand vs. two in the bush for Memphis. It will be interesting to see what they do. -

If Memphis is invited to the Pac-12, the Tigers should pack their bags and move on from the AAC
If its ten schools its going to be UNLV, Tulane, Memphis, and UTSA. If its twelve UNT and USF (maybe).- 2
