Truman Spencer. It seems like he's been our punter for the last 6 years.

i think i've only known gowin and spencer as punters since i've followed north texas...i know there were others, but i don't remember them.

who is our other punter or do we have one? he better be good!

Our current place kicker is scheduled to punt next season in addition to his PK duties. Or so I've heard.

I sat next to Truman's grandfather (and family) at the game. What a nice bunch of people they were. Truman has been a fine young man both on and off the field for his entire 4 years here. We will certainly miss the stability he brought to the position also.

Yes he played the 2000-2001 seasons with the Rams. Also don't forget about our great punter Toby Gowin!

Jeremy Knott was a JC All American punter if my memory serves me right.

I sure would have liked to have seen ALL the seniors get more time Saturday. Those guys have EARNED the time this season, but I read where Dodge said that all the seniors who wanted to play got to play. Did that mean that some did not want to play? I got to meet up with one senior's parents prior to the game and the Dad made, what i thought was an "interesting" comment...he said his son did not want any "pity time" and would not be playing much/at all on Saturday. To me, that was sad...good kid...good family...has earned the right to play, but, if he did not want to play, that is his call too.

Would it really be "pity time"? Not in my mind...it would be "HARD EARNED AND WELL DESERVED TIME", but everyone has to make that call. This must have been a very frustrating time for many of our seniors and their parents...my hat is off to each and every one of them...it take quality and character to "hang in there" in this type of situation. Good for all of them, and thanks for all you did to try to make the MEAN GREEN the best it could be.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE SENIORS AND THEIR FAMILIES. WELL DONE!
