Since the wheels are off one wheel of the Mean Green express ( football ), let's do everything in our power to support the two basketball teams. Success in those endeavors will at least lend more credibility to our overall sports programs at NT. While football is king in Texas, there is still a lot of exposure for basketball. Let's show the metroplex that we can generate crowds for basketball and help us be more of a viable sports program overall. I know a lot of you are more football oriented, but basketball is the only game in town at the moment...please suck it up and go to some games...the teams need all the home court advantage they can muster. Plus, it's fun.

Major fun.... plus our guys win.... for those who have only supported football so far, I'll provide a definition of the word "win" to refresh your memory since these are so far and few between in football: win = to score more points than your opponents by the end of the game.

Come out and support and have some fun... don't forget to wear a green wig, bring your life-sized sign of Josh White, yell at the opposing coach and players, and get silly. See everyone tonight!
