Ball State will serve as the perfect coming out party for the Mean Green Next year. Hopefully ranked in the Top 25, but by no means a BCS power team. The kind of win that while attainable, certainly puts on the map.

Don't forget Alabama, either, because I believe we play there next year, too. Its feasible that we will play--on the road in OOC, two undefeated teams from the previous season.

BallS could actually go 14-0 after their bowl game. I will be rooting for them to do just that. We could, and can, be in that enviable position someday. Hope I live to see it.

When I spoke to folks in the Athletic Department last summer they said we were scheduling the games against the MAC schools because they were very winnable games. Hmmmmm......

Interesting that such a lack of strength of schedule like that (52-84) can still get them ranked in the Top 15 of the BCS. I say in the future we schedule only potential 2-9 teams.
