Texas State Football To The Playoffs

Just felt like sharing the good news...after a 48-45 OT win yesterday against Sam Houston in Huntsville, the Tx St Bobcats won the Southland Conference Championship and the Automatic Qualifying bid to the playoffs.

We just got the news today, we are facing #4 seeded Montana up in Missoula this Saturday.

congrats guys, to bad the REAL Southland Champions are not going to get to play. GO UCA BEARS!!!

Sorry had to get that in.

The McNeese/UCA game was awesome and the crowd was really into it all game.

Also McNeese had several hundred fans make the 8 hr drive to see their team.

I forgot to update that TxSt lost last saturday to Montana 31 to 13, but the Bobcats actually led 10-7 until the 12 minute mark. You can watch a 10 minute highlight of the game on the linked site above.

Overall, a great season for them to build onto next year. It should give them some good recruiting power at the HS ranks, as well as an even better chance at bringing in some good transfers.
