I don't interpret it as arrogance.

Okay, okay. Hold up here.

The violence is totally uncalled for, no matter what. Plus, I got a feeling there's missing information here, like what she was saying to incite the violence. Now I could be wrong, and she could just have been around some really screwed up people - much like those spouting off hate about Obama or that reporter at the Palin rally.

The bigger thing here is that America still has a long way to go with race relations. The election of Obama has just brought to the forefront the prejudice between the races.

"I see the car coming. They looked at me and said, 'Obama!' They were not happy. They had hoodies on. They started hitting me with bats and my body started vibrating," said the Curtis High School, S.I., student.

My response to this, and the expected proper response to such a dispicable thing as this that happened to this young man by anyone else, one would assume, is that this was a horrible act of cowardice violence and it is my hope that the PD find these four who did this and that the court punishes them to the fullest of the law. And any other response to such a horrible display of volence does really tell me a lot about the level of character by that person, given their history.

And to take it further, I am sorry that someone like myself wasn't there at that moment in time when these beatings were taking place, to take it upon themself to exercise their 2nd Amendment right and additional state right to end such a horrible act quickly and deliberately, regardless if it involved gang bangers.........or college coeds.

What is further interesting is the difference, or parts thereof, that are left out between the two similar crimes mentioned above. But maybe that should be left for another debate in another different thread altogether.
