I didn't know that Houston was our rival. In fact, I didn't know that we had any rivals.

I certainly don't blame him. Houston is better top to bottom than us right now and have been for a while now and will continue to be for a long time. It is icing in the cake that he is from Houston. It is a no brainer him picking UH over UNT...I would have done the same thing.

Well according to EA Sports College Football 09 our rivals are NMSU, MTSU and I think the third is ULL. I don't quite remember. I guess I will take EA Sports' word.

Or at least have a very well publicized walk on program, especially to kids within a 100 mile radius of the campus. A diamond here and and a diamond there would sure pretty things up. A little university in Nebraska built a pretty successful program over many years, and many times announcers would point out some of their top players and mention they were walk ons.

I agree. The best player on our team right now is a walk on. If we had ten of him we would be in a lot better shape. As far as the big boys are concerned, let's go out and find us some local fatboys and mold 'em into 4th and 5th year linemen!
