Good night for the conference.

Good night for the conference.

Good night? Beating Monmouth, Morehead St., Eastern Kentucky, and Alcorn State by a combined 16 points concerns me about this conference's power.

Sometimes I wonder if some of you pay attention to college basketball outside the major conferences.

Eastern Kentucky made the NCAA tournment the same year we did.

Monmouth made the tournament in 2006.

I wasn't even talking to you man. But it sort of amazes me someone trashes an Eastern Kentucky, when they are a pretty decent program in recent years. I mean they aren't WESTERN Kentucky, but they are no slouch.

I mean, yes obviously everyone will follow the Sunbelt first and the Power leagues next(or even vice versa in alot of cases), but I mean....don't you watch March Madness? Maybe I just have a good memory or something.

Eastern Kentucky was 14-16 last year and had losing seasons in 3 of the past 5. And they don't have 1-A football either! :P

Who cares about football in this instance? I don't think that hurts Gonzaga any. :P I don't think they even play it on a different level period(I may be wrong on that).

Eastern is a program that seems to follow up one good year with a bad one. Admittedly, they're working on consistency. But hell, it's not like they're any further removed from an NCAA appearance than us. I'd hate to see another Mid-Major school downgrade a close win over NT the same way.

It's not like we're in the wilderness like we were in say...2001 or something.

I was joking about the football. I'm sure EKU has a fine program but they are not a household power name, but then neither is FIU.
