College Notes: Dillard among Biletnikoff semifinalists

The semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, which recognizes college football’s top wide receiver, were announced Tuesday and include four in-state standouts.

Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree, Rice’s Jarett Dillard, Texas’ Quan Cosby and North Texas’ Casey Fitzgerald join six other wideouts on the list.

The winner of the 16th Biletnikoff Award will be announced as part of ESPN’s College Football Awards Show on Dec. 11. The award will be officially presented to the winner at the annual Biletnikoff Award dinner, hosted by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club, on Feb. 13.
