From Denton Record Chronicle UNT notes: "UNT has changed its lineup along its defensive front on nearly a weekly basis throughout the season and made another switch for its game against FAU. "

No wonder the defense cannot focus and gel, nobody knows if they are going to be playing or who they will be playing with.

Every week? Did not know that.

Yes actually, it's not like they really want to play Gilmore at DT. This week there were two more D-linemen who were inactive for the game. The list of injured D-linemen is long.

I guess I could ask who is on that list, but instead, I'll ask if anyone thinks it's unusual that a D1 college football program has a D-line that sustains this many injuries. If so, why?

I don't think you need to limit your question to whether its unusual to just the D-line....there seems to be a lot unusual to this team this year.

Lack of off season conditioning has something to do with it in my opinion. I hope this is one of many areas that Dodge will recognize and address over the coming nine months. If he doesn't, it may not matter much to him.
