Anyone surprised about the rap sheet on the older Nwigwe? I hope that he turns it around, after college is over - the judge won't have much hope for his future and just lock him up. This kid needs to make sure that he is not in the wrong place any more.

I think it is a positive article, honestly. Sure, he's had issues in the past, but he's working to stay out of trouble and looking forward to the future. I think this says alot about what type of player Dodge wants on his team and what he expects of his players as opposed to previous head coaches, and is an example of what TD would call victories that people haven't noticed.

I hope Tobe stays on the right side of the law and turns out alright.

First and foremost, what Tobe had been accused of doesn't compare to the Vick brothers crimes.

It has been my personal experience that parents influence their children, but can only control them so much. You try to teach, but not every lesson is learned. Unfortunately, a practical example is sometimes required. When your children commit heinous crimes after they are 21 (or in the Vick's case 25!) there is nothing their parents could have done about it. Until you are certain your child would never do something bad after they left the nest, people who are wise don't criticize the parenting skills of others.

Lets not forget the major influence that a sibling can be in ones life. I have a brother who is 8 yrs younger than. I played a big part of his growing up....at least I think
