DENTON, Texas (11-06-08) – For the first time in nine seasons, the Mean Green soccer team was unable to reach the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game after a 1-0 loss to the hands of Western Kentucky Thursday evening in the semi-finals.

DENTON, Texas (11-06-08) – For the first time in nine seasons, the Mean Green soccer team was unable to reach the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game after a 1-0 loss to the hands of Western Kentucky Thursday evening in the semi-finals.

I went to the game Wednesday night and I think, IMHO, this team is not as strong as some of the ones that came before it. I don't think the defense is as solid and I definitely don't think the creativity up front is as abundant.
