His best book is actually about his own life. Travels was so awesome, what a fascniating life he lead. I've been a fan of his since my freshamn year in high school. I think I own just about everything he ever read, even most of his work under staged names. I will miss reading his new books every 2 years or so - this is a huge loss for me.
