Circuit City Closes 155 Stores

Like I have always said Denton is a booming market and has soooooooo much potential.....

Stores in Sherman, Burleson, Mansfield and Dallas stores closed

Or, it is underserved and they don't want to close a store in a market where there is not as much competition.

I have no idea how the Circuit City in Denton remains open.

I've never stepped foot in there without noticing that employees out numbered customers 3 to 1, plus it looks and feels like a gutted Target. Best Buy on the other hand is packed continuously.

Thats why I am suprised they left it open. Circuit City is a much better electronics store than Best Buy in my mind...Better deals, better service.

Circuit City is a category killer just circling the drain at this point. You should have known the retailer was in huge trouble when they laid off 3000 employees to hire less experienced people for less pay.

Not from my experience!

I expect Circuit City to go belly up after the holidays.
