I did think it was interesting that right before my dvr cut off there was a shot of Dodge trying to take a timeout with the clock running down and Deloach was behind him in the background trying to tell him no, and when the referees blew the whistle Deloach had a real disgusted look on his face

You had to remind me about that..... soooooo terrible.

Wow, did anyone notice the WKU RB, # 33 was wide open in

the end zone? No one even close to defending the pass play.

I think a very big Thank You, should go to #16, LB Steve Warren

who blitzed, came in untouched, and was in the QB's face just

just as the pass was released. Warren just blew up this play from

the start!!! Saved the game for the team!

Thank you Steve!

Thanks. How does one capture video like that? I wasn't able to figure it out.

I recorded the video on my laptop using a screen capturing program..the footage is directly from espn360. Sadly the program I downloaded is only a demo, hence the low resolution and the watermark that is visible. I might re-do it at home and upload a better quality one as well. Let me know if you guys want any other plays from the game uploaded, I'll try to do my best.

I was talking with Suzie yesterday and she told me that WKU was a provisional school and that I should brag to her once we beat a team she heard of. I was so pissed, I beat her to death with a shovel and then gave her innards to a pack of pit bulls in the neighbor's yard.

She later apologized ad can't wait for the FAU game.

GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!

This thread has really degenerated into something that is fascinating to read, and a little uncomfortable at the same time. It's like listening to another guy get yelled at by his wife while you hear the whole thing. Or maybe it is the same...

Anyone notice #89 almost caught Tobe? Our guy missed the block on him.

I think you are talking about #16 Steve Warren, who was the main escort of the convoy.

Let's see, Steve crashed in and sacked the QB, making him throw a bad pass, which Tobe then intercepted. Mr. Warren THEN was heads up enough to see what was going on, and jumped up off the turf and caught up with Tobe to provide him an escort. From my point of view, he then used his head and just got in the way of #89, which was the smart thing to do. Because any other "overt" action might have resulted in a penalty. The chasing player (#89) had to deal with Mr. Warren (which he did by pushing him down) before he could get to Tobe......which ended up being too late.

So to summarize, Steve Warren sealed the deal for us and provided the coaching staff with some training film for future defensive players on how to make a big play.........................make that how to make a HEADS UP BIG PLAY. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS STEVE WARREN!!!!!

Plagarism! This is pulled straight from the pages of emmitt01's "Tales From The Cop," or whatever he called that thread.

Should I feel bad for laughing at this?

Yes Props to Steve. However, the penalty would not have mattered in this instance and neither would it have mattered if when he was shoved he fell and tripped up Tobe, which he almost did, just shy of the end-zone.

After watching the video again one more thing came to mind. The TE that caught Toby at the goal line was 6'3" 250 lb senior David Miller. He lined up on the right tightend position during the play and is seen blocking his man to the outside. Considering how far he had to run and how quickly he closed on Toby was impressive for a big guy like that.

That was impressive. Almost as impressive as Steve Warren taking down the QB and then getting off the turf to provide the escort...... ;)
