I suppose in its vaguest definition, you could argue it was an H-back. But that's for the couch coaches to decide.

I revisited the 2nd half, and saw at least 3 snaps in which Seidle lined up in the TE position. He blocked some, also ran a route down field. I don't recall all of the downs, but one particular was a 2nd and 10. On all of the respective plays, Cam lined up on the weak side.

In other news, they had some air-time showing DeLoach and Dodge talking. Amazingly, there was no finger pointing or "f bombs" dropped. Actually, they kind of looked like coaches discussing the game plan. Crazy.

Is it possible someone has the post-game recorded? I would love to hear it.

H-Back is when the TE lines up in the backfield...alot like you see Jason Witten do. It's good to see TD changing the offfense. Wonder if we recruit a TE this year?

I actually noted this too during one thread yesterday that I was almost certain we had several tight end formations.... Dodge is adapting... took him a while, but he is adapting....

As I was watching the game, I'm pretty sure commentators said something about the TE and how "the Mean Green use the TE look a lot."

I heard that too! They really did their homework.

We used the TE at least 20 plays the 1st half (estimate, not count), less the second half.

In pre-game Dunham mentioned we would be using a TE, mainly to supplement the running game.

Ya, I'm not a fan of the ESPN Plus commentators, they usually don't know anything about either team. Plus, the play by play guy's voice annoys me. Where are you Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit??
