First off let me say I'm not arguing with the data presented.

However after watching Michigan struggle this year. Should some credence be given to completely turning over and offense. ie run based to spread.

It can't be measured I supposed by stats.

I hope you didn't lose sleep puzzling that well-thought response out.

I think what you are saying is that the spread is hard to learn. Most people agree and that is why you didn't see anyone calling for TD's head last year.

Now, can you think of any examples of teams that changed offenses and had more immediate success. Anyone?

Would Florida fall under that category? The won immediately with Meyer's offense (maybe Gator's are just a smarter brand of football players).

And yes, its a good win to enjoy.

I executed that post terribly. I need to gather my thoughts. Florida is an interesting point. However you could argue that Spurrier/Zook was not that far from Meyers Spread.
