The reason that we can't do it exactly is that there are only 11 teams in the Sun Belt. That necessitates playing one team from the other division home and home as well. This will change when Denver leaves the conference in a couple of years.

It's actually goofier than that. This year we only play Monroe, who is in our division, once. Last year it was UALR. But, we will play the MUTS twice.
