IIRC a large part of Mangino's weight problem comes from a thyroid condition he has. I'm sure he does eat a helluva lot, but perhaps not as much as we'd think.

I doubt it...they would just become "our fat guy" jokes! Do you really think he will live long enogh to become "anyone's next coach"???? Man, heart must be working overtime! You would think a college coach...with access to great workout space and equipment and a ton of experienced fitness folks would want to do something to lose a bit of weight.

Oh, well, I guess another cheesburger beckons!
