If your free in Ft Worth near TCU campus, the ladies could use your support.

6 of the players begin play Thursday at 9 AM and must win 3 rounds of the qualifier to advance to Main Draw, the remaining 2 will not play until 2:30 on Friday in the Main Draw. 2 players are seeded in the Qualifier at #4 and #7.

Madura and Irina have tough draws in their first matches, playing A&M with potnetial 2nd round against #1 seed, while the other plays the #2 seed in the first round. Actually surprised Madura did not get seeded considering she was #30 in the SW at the end of last season and has had a good Fall Season.

All four doubles (Play Thursday 3:30) teams have chances of winning their first doubles matches, although seeded teams will be awaiting in 2nd Round

Madura Ranganathan scored another big win today defeating the #6 player from last year's A&M team.

She plays the #1 Seed (Baylor) tomorrow morning at 9 AM, believe she could have a chance as the #1 seed had to go three sets in her first round match.

I am thinking we have a special Freshman in Irina. She lost to the #2 Seed in 3 sets today 4-6, 6-2, 6-3

The LSU player is ranked #15 in the Nation, so this was a great result in a losing effort.

Madura plays the #1 seed in the morning who is ranked #8 in the nation currently.

Also Irina/Madura play the #8 seeds from A&M around noon.

I guess I need to step away from predictions. The #1 Seed blasted Madura this morning 0,3, she will play Tx Tech later today. Irina won her Conso match easily 1,1 over Tx Tech and plays TCU this afternoon.

In perspective though most the seeds rolled this morning after having some tough first matches yesterday.

Irina/Madura play #8 A&M in their next doubles match.

Joubert/Wilhelm will play ULL shortly.

Cruz/Kazarova have w/d

Akin/MacKenzie play UT shortly as well.

Good luck the rest of the day.

Well GAME, SET, MATCH

Madura/Irina lost 9-8 to the #4 seeds from UT in the QTRS, disappointing in the loss as one of the UT players was not 100% as she pulled out of an earlier singles match with an injury.

Good tournament for the ladies as they defeated 2 seeded teams and with the other recruit waiting in the wings until the Spring the Tennis Team will be in great shape for the spring season.

Mixed results for the weekend overall, but no complaints and a nice doubles result for the #1 team.
