Officially: Ms. Yothers is NOT PLEASED about this theft of her intellectual property (specifically, CBL). Harry and company can expect to hear from her lawyers.

Unofficially: Nice work as usual. Thanks for the work you put into your analysis and the time you spend educating all of us morons.

CBL is confused as he has never written for Tina...though he does enjoy TyMat B's mid-season reports and especially his live Sun Belt Conference tournament coverage and waits with baited anticipation to peruse those once again this season.

So...the sex was good?

a few opinions I have about the analysis, but no time to elaborate ( maybe later)..

First, Kevin Kanaskie should be first team All Sun Belt, second I think Tristan Thompson will start over Adam Mccoy, and last NT should be first in the west

I agree with 1/4 of your three assertions.

I like Kanaskie's game a lot and feel he is the best playmaker, and maybe best shooter in the conference, but I felt he is going to be sharing the ball and minutes a lot this season...and the only boarderline 1st teamer, Dykes, won't be.

I debated back and forth about TT and Adam...I wouldn't mind TT starting and Adam being a spark plug off the bench, but I'm hoping for really big things from Adam, to the point where you almost can't keep him outof the starting 5. Perhaps that call was optimism.

The West is deep...I picked ULL b/c they gave the confernce hell last season with a bunch of guards playing in their first college seasons (Diagle, Gary and 2 others were grayshirt sophmores...while Bureau and Gradnigo were true freshmen.) and essentially no inside talent. They added 4 guys 6'8" or better, 3 with D-1 experience at Houston, UNLV and USC. When I originally wrote this up, I had ASU in the top spot...I think 1-4 in the West is essentially a toss up.

CBL, on the topic of NT's front court...How do you see us stacking up on the boards this year? Seems to me that this is going to be a make us or break us unit this year. Do you think the incoming guys are up to the task?

Personally I would pick Kanastie over Collin for 1st team.

UALR, ULL and UNT likely to all be within a game of each other, like last year. I see UNT 3rd. ULL and UALR ahead of us last season, neither lost anyone of consequence, and both had decent recruiting classes. We lost our floor leader and our big guy. Catching up will be tough. But it will come down to the last game of the season.

The wild card is Brady now at ArkSt. His career at LSU was a wildly inconsistent one: overall he finished 50%-50% in conference games and finished last as often as he finished first. His overall record looks better since LSU plays almost all of its OOC schedule at home vs McNeese, SoutheasternLa, and the like. He ran off almost as many people as he recruited and many of the people who left were capable players. He could take ASU to the top or the bottom. If he stays there a few years, he will do both.

Best seat in the house when ASU comes to town will be across the court from the visitors bench. He gets so furious he looks as if he will pop a blood vessel. People will watch him and forget to watch the game.

Denver will be dangerous from time to time but is still a couple of years away from competing. After a splashy first season in conference, ULM is on its way to the back of the bus.

Gotta stick with MTSU in the east. They just flat have more horses, including some bigguns, and a good 'nuff coach. USA is best coached team in the conf and may come out on top but have a habit of falling off the table at the end of the season. Can't see how on paper but somehow I think WKU will be right there at the end, nobody has shut off the talent pipeline yet. The other teams in the East seem pretty weak this year. Like others, I love to watch Sergio but wonder if he can coach.
