The vote was huge, as it signaled a gradual turn toward a total on campus college experience for NT students. The forces that have had a strangle hold on NT's struggle to progress toward a university that offers the total college experience seemed to have lost this election. The move will help recruit the 'beefy' majors to campus, who will be the nucleus of future big donations, i.e. business, engineering, pre-med, law, perhaps pharmacy ,etc. The vote also clears the way for major participation on the part of alumni who have for decades questioned the sincerely of the senior administration relative to athletics. In a nut shell, we might just have a rah rah atmosphere here at NT in the near future...an atmosphere that has served Tam, Ut, Ttech well for many many years.
