"It’s a helpless feeling for a punter when you’re losing," said Spencer, who also played safety in high school. "I wish there was something more I could do. But I’ve got to focus on my job and do the best I can do for the team. All I can do is try to pin ’em deep."

At 6-3 and 220 lbs, it would be nice if he could out run the rest of the team down field and do something about the punt coverage issues we've had. If so, we could get him a cape with a big "S" on the back. ("S" for Spencer?)

North Texas has definitely had some greats at the punter position in the 15 years I've been following the program. Glad to see Truman continue the tradition, although I hope his services are less needed in weeks to come.
