Stars Rookie Nets Hat Trick In Nhl Debut

I figured it was worth a mention stars rookie Fabian Brunnstrom a 23 year old from Sweden just put in his third goal of the night which appears to be the game winner. It's only the third time in NHL history a player has had a hat trick in their debut. It's final 6-4 for the stars first win of the season.

I met him and James Neal (among others) at the season ticket holder kickoff. They both could not have been nicer and could tell I was just trying to just keep my head down and get a photo, so they made a point of chatting me up for awhile. It was an awesome experience and they both are "my guys" this season, which to be fair, is a role that has been occupied by everyone from Bill Guerin to Nikko Kapanen.

Still it was nice to see them both start well (I went to the opener and Neal was a (to quote the guy quoting Corby next to me) a "grown ass man" all night.

Wouldn't Corby also be quoting Cedric the Entertainer?

I saw most of this game and this guy is a stud. I can understand all the hype about him during this past offseason.

He would be, but Cedric never lazily and poorly discusses college football and decides to call every player - especially Bradford and McCoy - grown ass men because he is too ignorant to think of anything better to say.
