Assuming that the local watering holes have YFY, Maybe some students could go to these places on Thursday night (assuming that is still the big go out night up there, it's been a while) with laptops and recruit the vote. If I didn't have to work, I'd do it. Hell, I'd by any student a beer that was willing to vote yes! Now thats a good campaign tool with college students!!!! Call it the "Alcohol for Athletics" campaign!

Interesting, but perhaps not the best of ideas...buying votes...Hmmmmmmm...ACORN at work perhaps? I share the passion for wanting the vote to pass...it simply MUST...but, let's not do anything to appear like those who are opposed to the stadium who go out and harrass students for votes and destroy "yes" signs, etc.

Better to use the "beer" thing with coeds....much better odds of winning!

Ya....VERY computer challenged!

Alcoholics Combining Oncampus for Realizing Nadium (short for new stadium - and how new stadium is pronounced by members of this group).

There is nothing unusual about buying votes in the great State of Texas. Lyndon Johnson might not have started that process but he darned sure came close to perfecting it. In the traditon of "Landslide Lyndon Johnson" here's to the purchase of a few YES votes at the nearest watering hole.
