That's weird. i just checked it again and there was a button for me. Hopefully its all the traffic for people getting on to vote YES.

Nope. Just tried several times and nothin'. Might my purgatoryesque status as non-degree seeking post baccalaureate student have something to do with it? My status will change to degree seeking this week, so if that's the case, maybe I can still get in there by Friday.

I'm trying to vote, but after I click Vote the page refuses to load. Hopefully the site is getting flooded with "Yes" votes at the moment...

Can someone post the wording of the vote question? Like - does it say "I vote yes to reducing the Student Service Fee by $3 dollars and dedicating $10 per hour for a dedicated athletic fee?" or something like that? Just curious as to how this was worded on the ballot. Also - I wonder what will happen for the students that try to vote online and it freezes up. What happens if their vote isn't counted? I didn't even know that students could vote online.. kinda scary if there are server problems.

“In order for the University of North Texas to have a better Athletic program, which in turn leads to national exposure and increased recognition of UNT; I agree to a dedicated Athletic Fee not to exceed $10 per semester credit hour. Once the Athletic Fee is implemented, the Student Service Fee will be reduced by $3 per semester credit hour. The Athletic Fee shall not be implemented until the semester the new football stadium is complete, which is expected to be fall 2011.

Thank you to all SGA Senators that put such a PERFECTLY worded item on the ballot. If this doesn't pass than I will be very baffled. I just don't know how anyone could vote "no" to that.

Just voted yes... By the way did anyone else see the Honors College on their ballot? As far as I know I'm not in the Honors College so I'm not sure why it would let me vote for a senator within that college.

I had the honors college on mine as well... Have you been invited to the honors college? I have and I just figured that is why is was on there.

      A personal fav: It was more "how" they lost. As other posters have commented, the offense has no flow, no purpose and zero situational awareness. The whole thing looks like a discombobulated goat rodeo, and I watched the second half of the second half, which was light years better than the first. They scored 3 baskets and 14 points in the first half. More turnovers than made baskets. That is next-level incompetence, and I can't believe all these players suddenly forgot how to play basketball at a high level. ...also, the obligatory "I was a 30+ year season ticket holder until I saw this mess" statement by a frustrated fan. Ever read that before?

      Watched the game on Youtube last night. Couple of thoughts/observations. 1. What is the purpose of the raised court? I think Vandy has one as well. Seems like it poses an injury threat to the players. 2. Man, we missed a lot of open shots. 3. Our defense completely took them out of their game. If we can play that D and find our offense, then this team will be tough to beat. 4. Big 10 refs suck. 5. I know many on here are critical of him, but Sissoko's growth has been fun to watch. 6. Thank goodness we have Walker. What a leader and calming presence for our team. Love his game.
