The only good news for Huskies and Cougars fans -- there's one team in the country that is worse than yours. Winless North Texas has been outscored by an average of 53-13 a game, topped by a 77-20 drubbing by Rice.

The not-aptly named Mean Green are so terrible that Stoneback said they'd be four-point underdogs to Washington State on a neutral field and two-touchdown underdogs to Washington.

North Texas tops David Duffey's ESPN.com "Bottom 10" college football poll. This week, Duffey ranks the Huskies as the second-worst team in the land, followed by the Cougs at No. 3. Robb Akey's Idaho Vandals round out ESPN's sad-sack version of the Final Four.

This is sad, worst team in the country. 53-13 per game. Fire Dickey!

My buddy at work is a big WSU Cougar fan. Brought him to last weeks game hoping to show him our first win.

We have to console each other on a weekly basis!

LOL!!!!

Sad thing, if NT were to play both Washington teams right now and win, then lose the other 10, that would save Dodge's a$$ for a couple of years for the fact he actually won an OOC game!! I'd be right there with the rest of this board praising his greatness. :P

one positive aspect of being the worst team in the country -- every college football fan knows who you are....at different times Northwestern, Kansas State and UTEP were widely thought of as the "worst in the nation" and everybody who followed the sport knew it.....maybe the North Texas State references will decrease....

just trying to find the silver lining...
