What Do You Expect Your Complaining And Moaning To Accomplish?

Just curious why everyone and their dog feels the need to make a new thread complaining, whining, moaning, bitching, crying, etc.... Really, what are you expecting to accomplish? We are all extremely frustrated and worried about the play of the team and ultimately the program in general, but what good is another thread with more whining going to do? We got trounced by a bad team, we all know that. But all of this negativity is serving no purpose except to snowball and bring moral down even further. I think that anyone who was at the game on Saturday already has a low enough morale as it is. There is just no need to keep stating the obvious over and over, so take a rest already.

This is forum to vent, good or bad. What is obvious is that you can choose not to read them, or don't come back to the board until the team has improved so much that nothing will be negative. Obviously, the choice is yours.

This is forum to vent, good or bad. What is obvious is that you can choose not to read them, or don't come back to the board until the team has improved so much that nothing will be negative. Obviously, the choice is yours.

I was wondering when this completely unoriginal response would come, and kudos on making it the first reply! Trust me, I don't read all the threads. I read very few, in fact. I come here to find information and occasionally a level-headed discussion. The explosion of idiots and their multiplying threads over the past couple of days has been too much, though. I honestly can't find which threads contain actual information and I definitely am not going to weed through every one to find out. But aside from my own inconvenience, you conveniently avoided my question. So I'm going to have the completely unoriginal response to you of "why did you come to this thread if you weren't going to answer my question?" I really want to know why we need so many threads of people crying and complaining about the same thing the 20 people below them are crying and complaining of. WE GET IT! There is no need to have so much negativity when we all already know how bad things are!

I don't think I can be considered a negative poster. But, having fans that show interest, good or bad, is probably better than fans that have no interest at all. North Texas has had enough fan apathy over the years IMO. The day that the program is in real trouble is the day that the fans stop caring.

i agree with ya ebone....but don't forget....it's going to get worse... ....everyone knows it and has to keep saying it!

are we having a crappy season???? sure, but let's try and focus on the good things that are going on! i know there aren't much, but at least we may have a new stadium soon.....beerman isn't playing every weekend....TAILGATING IS AWESOME!!!!!

You may argue there isn't anything to be positive about, but in my mind, the problem with the vitriol and negativity is that there is so few threads recognizing the things that made me smile-happy.

So I will start:

Casey Fitzgerald is absolutely worth the price of admission.

The cynical will say I just about covered it. But if you try, you will find more to be happy about.
